Steve you are absolutely right, having a care plan in place that will cover any future needs is a must, I come across many seniors who are downsizing and moving, who have no plan in place, family members in some cases do not have power of attorney, all this just adds to the stress of moving

You are absolutely right, the holiday is a good time to take notice of how well they are doing and talk with the family about things that can make it easier for mom or dad. I’ve had more calls in the last few weeks and expect more families contacting me at http:www.agingavenues.com to consult with them about their options. My own mother fell down the stairs of my sister’s home on Thanksgiving. She’s a very healthy, active senior so it just shows you how quickly something like this can happen. Fortunately she’s ok except for some bruises.
